Built for Extreme TemperaturesCrafted with the thickest insulation, this sock is ideal for extremely cold and wet conditions where thermal retention is imperative. Using a three-layer bonded construction, a 100% waterproof hydrophilic membrane is sandwiched between a premium Merino wool interior for warmth and a durable nylon exterior with 4-way stretch lending to great fit and wearability.
Merino Wool for WarmthSealskinz Extreme Cold Weather socks are designed with warmth in mind. Using the finest Merino wool, they also added a layer of terry-loop knitting and added padding at the ankle. This loop knitting actually traps heat within the air pockets keeping you warmer when you're in the most extreme weather conditions.
Extremely BreathableParticularly noteworthy is the unmatched breathability of the hydrophilic waterproof membrane to release perspiration steam and warm air from inside the sock. Composition
The 100% waterproof socks are constructed using premium materials and by bonding three layers together to make one highly waterproof and breathable sock:
- Outer Layer - 90% Nylon, 10% Elastane
- Middle Layer - 100% Hydrophilic Membrane
- Inner Layer - 41% Merino Wool, 41% Acrylic, 14% Polyester, 2% Nylon, 2% Elastane
Care
Sealskinz don’t like complicated things. And when it comes to the care of your socks, they want to make it as simple as possible. This is the type of sock you can throw in the wash along with the rest of your gear. No need to line dry or wash with special detergents. Since the membrane is a solid barrier, you’ll never need to re-waterproof.

We offer FREE delivery on orders over €100 (excluding overweight items*) to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, for any order below the value we charge a small delivery fee of €5 per delivery.
