Description

A 71-litre capacity and wide opening keep the full load visible, while The North Face Base Camp Duffel Bag - Medium supports longer journeys, equipment-heavy weekends and trips that demand more than a standard overnight bag. Its structured design helps a substantial amount of gear remain easier to pack, carry and organise.

The broad D-shaped zip exposes the main compartment from end to end, while a separate zipped end pocket gives wet footwear, worn clothing or dirty equipment its own space. A secure internal mesh pocket and end-cap sleeve organise smaller items, reducing the need to search through the entire bag for travel essentials.

The hard-wearing body uses 1000-denier recycled PVC over an 840-denier recycled ballistic-nylon base, supported by bartack reinforcement and double-stitched seams. A weather-resistant flap protects the main zip and a non-PFC water-repellent finish helps the base resist light moisture. The construction is water resistant rather than waterproof.

The removable alpine-cut shoulder straps clip on for a backpack-style carry through stations, airports or approaches, while the padded side handles provide comfortable lifting and hauling points. Four compression straps control the load when it is not completely full, and a water-resistant ID window and included mesh storage bag add useful finishing details for regular travel.
