Wear & Tear Faults

Even with the best care in the world it’s important to note
that no DWR (Durable Water Repellence) finish is permanent.

This water-repellent coat on your garment/footwear needs to be maintained to optimise performance, firstly by cleaning regularly with a tech, and occasionally reproofing.

The brand we recommend is Nikwax.

Yes, all shoes will come with a 1-year warranty but that is subject
to relative wear and tear. As a rule you would expect to get between 500km – 800km out of a pair of runners. For example, if you walk 5km every day, you will
walk an average of 25km a week which would hit 800km in 32 weeks/8 months.

It is also important to bear in mind the type of shoes you
are purchasing and the type of terrain you use them on.

Many of our products are designed for hiking/ running on trails or off road. If you use these daily on tarmac or concrete, they will wear down faster than you would expect with runners designed for road walking/running.
