The Kansas GTX walking boot has been in production by Meindl for over 15 years. As trusted shoemakers since 1683, Meindl’s walking boots are always of the finest quality and reliability. In keeping with tradition, all of Meindl's footwear to this day are hand-crafted in the Bavarian factory by skilled professionals.

The 3 season Kansas GTX is made from waxed Nubuck leather uppers and a rubber toe-cap giving you protection across a wide variety of terrains. The boot includes various technologies to optimise your walking performance including, a GORE-TEX membrane for waterproofing, an Air-Active footbed to control moisture levels, a digafix lacing system for the perfect hold, and compression pads around the ankle to minimise pressure when hill-walking.

This new version holds onto the best bits, and so you are still guaranteed the Meindl Multigrip® By Vibram® technology sole, and GORE-TEX® lining to ensure they are waterproof. The upper is still a nubuck leather for its hard wearing and breathable qualities. Inside the boot there is still the memory foam system that Meindl have become renowned for, moulding the boot to your feet by using your body temperature. This system runs right through the boot, not only in the sole.

What the Women's Bhutan Lady MFS Hiking Boot brings to the table is a more evolved upper with its more comfortable and flexible ankle cuff, and closed tongue which will keep out water and dirt that gets kicked up. The lacing system has become easier and faster with new hooks all the way up now. The exterior now has extra stitching and a stylish extra line of stitching by the laces.
