Waterproof race-kit protection needs to remain light enough to carry and streamlined enough to run in when the weather turns. The North Face Men's Fontanales Jacket uses seam-sealed DryVent™ fabric for waterproof, windproof and breathable coverage during running, training and faster wet-weather movement.

The recycled polyester shell blocks rain while allowing internal heat and moisture vapour to escape. A non-PFC durable water-repellent finish helps water bead from the outer surface, and the jacket meets the water-resistance requirements of most races' mandatory equipment lists.

Reverse-coil front zips maintain a low-bulk construction, while a bonded chest pocket doubles as a stow space when the jacket is packed away. Reflective details improve visibility in lower light without adding heavy panels.
