The North Face Men's Summit FUTUREFLEECE™ Full Zip Hooded Fleece is engineered for mountaineering and fast technical movement, using a thin 124 g/m² fabric to deliver effective temperature regulation in a midlayer that packs easily beneath an insulating or waterproof shell.

FUTUREFLEECE™ combines full-loop construction with octa yarns to create an efficient warmth-to-weight balance. The fabric allows excess heat to escape as effort increases, yet provides useful insulation when the pace slows, helping reduce the need for repeated layer changes through exposed approaches and climbing days.

The pattern is shaped around movement and carrying equipment. Underarm gussets support a wider reach, while the absence of shoulder seams reduces pressure and bulk beneath backpack straps. Flatlocked stitching keeps key areas smooth against the skin, making the fleece comfortable over a base layer during long periods of wear.

A close-fitting hood uses a pre-tensioned elastic opening to remain secure, and integrated thumb loops stop the sleeves riding up beneath outer layers.
