The Hoka Women's Stinson 8 Trail Running Shoes pair an enhanced H-Frame™ top midsole layer with softer shock-absorbing foam underneath, giving the platform both guidance and plushness. A supportive moulded cage reinforces the breathable mesh upper for a secure hold as terrain changes.

The Durabrasion all-terrain rubber outsole uses 3.5mm lugs to provide grip across tarmac, gravel and easier trail sections, while a dual-sided gusset helps keep the tongue settled around the midfoot. A webbing heel pull adds convenience when getting the shoe on. With a 5mm heel-to-toe drop, the Stinson 8 is designed for runners who want maximal cushioning and added stability across road-to-trail routes.

About the brand

Hoka

Hoka, originally Hoka One One, is a running brand founded in 2009 in Annecy, France, by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, two trail runners who had previously worked at Salomon. They wanted a shoe that let them run downhill faster and with less fatigue, so they went against the minimalist trend of the time and built in far more cushioning. The name comes from a Maori phrase meaning to fly over the earth.

That maximalist idea, an oversized midsole with soft, deep cushioning, is still what Hoka is known for. Paired with a rocker-shaped sole that smooths each stride, it helps reduce impact over long distances. The range now covers road and trail running, walking and recovery footwear for every kind of runner.
