Description

Supportive cushioning makes the Hoka Women's Kaha 3 Mid GORE-TEX Waterproof Boots comfortable for long days when the route keeps changing. Waterproof nubuck leather forms the upper, backed by GORE-TEX Invisible Fit to keep rain and shallow water out while retaining a flexible feel. A dual-density midsole containing 30% sugarcane EVA cushions repeated steps, while the heel collar is shaped to reduce pressure around the Achilles.

A one-piece Vibram® Megagrip outsole with Traction Lug geometry and 4mm lugs provides dependable grip across loose and uneven terrain. Hubble® Heel and SwallowTail™ shaping broaden the landing platform, while MetaRocker™ geometry and integrated flex grooves encourage a smoother rolling motion through each step. Quick-lace metal top hooks make the boot easier to secure, with a reinforced toe cap adding protection on rougher ground.

About the brand

Hoka

Hoka, originally Hoka One One, is a running brand founded in 2009 in Annecy, France, by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, two trail runners who had previously worked at Salomon. They wanted a shoe that let them run downhill faster and with less fatigue, so they went against the minimalist trend of the time and built in far more cushioning. The name comes from a Maori phrase meaning to fly over the earth.

That maximalist idea, an oversized midsole with soft, deep cushioning, is still what Hoka is known for. Paired with a rocker-shaped sole that smooths each stride, it helps reduce impact over long distances. The range now covers road and trail running, walking and recovery footwear for every kind of runner.
