Description

Technical trail miles feel lighter and more responsive in the Hoka Women's Speedgoat 7 Running Shoes. Super-critically foamed EVA increases energy return while retaining the protective cushioning the Speedgoat is known for, and a stretchy dynamic vamp lets the upper adapt as the forefoot moves. Lightweight recycled-polyester woven fabric keeps the construction breathable, while the lay-flat dual-gusseted tongue helps hold the foot securely over uneven ground.

Vibram® Megagrip with Traction Lug combines a high-grip rubber compound with shaped tread elements for stronger bite, backed by 5mm lugs and an updated orientation for mixed terrain. Gaiter integration helps reduce trail debris when used with compatible gaiters, while a heel pull tab and reflective details add practical finishing touches. The 5mm heel-to-toe drop keeps the platform close to the trail without sacrificing cushioning.

About the brand

Hoka

Hoka, originally Hoka One One, is a running brand founded in 2009 in Annecy, France, by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, two trail runners who had previously worked at Salomon. They wanted a shoe that let them run downhill faster and with less fatigue, so they went against the minimalist trend of the time and built in far more cushioning. The name comes from a Maori phrase meaning to fly over the earth.

That maximalist idea, an oversized midsole with soft, deep cushioning, is still what Hoka is known for. Paired with a rocker-shaped sole that smooths each stride, it helps reduce impact over long distances. The range now covers road and trail running, walking and recovery footwear for every kind of runner.
