Description

A balanced blend of cushioning and everyday versatility sits at the heart of the Hoka Men's Clifton 10 Running Shoes. The CMEVA midsole softens road impact without turning the shoe into an overly heavy trainer, and Smooth MetaRocker™ uses curved sole geometry to help the foot move cleanly from landing into toe-off.

Hoka's rearfoot-focused Active Foot Frame™ places the heel down inside the midsole platform to create a more secure, supported sensation. A jacquard-knit upper wraps the foot with flexible structure, backed by a moulded EVA sockliner and abrasion-resistant rubber under the sole. Reflective upper details add visibility in lower light. The listed weight is 278g with an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.

About the brand

Hoka

Hoka, originally Hoka One One, is a running brand founded in 2009 in Annecy, France, by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, two trail runners who had previously worked at Salomon. They wanted a shoe that let them run downhill faster and with less fatigue, so they went against the minimalist trend of the time and built in far more cushioning. The name comes from a Maori phrase meaning to fly over the earth.

That maximalist idea, an oversized midsole with soft, deep cushioning, is still what Hoka is known for. Paired with a rocker-shaped sole that smooths each stride, it helps reduce impact over long distances. The range now covers road and trail running, walking and recovery footwear for every kind of runner.
