Description

Fast, cold alpine missions require insulation that delivers serious warmth while remaining compact enough for a focused kit. The Patagonia Men's Fitz Roy Down Hooded Jacket uses 800-fill-power Responsible Down Standard down in a packable midweight belay design.

A lightweight recycled Pertex Quantum shell and NetPlus recycled nylon lining reduce bulk while protecting the insulation. Built for done-in-a-day objectives where movement and efficiency matter, the jacket is made in a Fair Trade Certified factory.

  • Light and durable 100% recycled nylon ripstop shell, with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS, provides weather protection and is soft to the touch.
  • 800-fill-power 100% Responsible Down Standard down certified by Control Union (CU 880272) provides high-loft warmth in an ultrapackable midweight layer.
  • Alpine helmet–compatible hood has a single-pull drawcord and a high-loft draft collar.
  • Center-front Vislon® zipper is backed with an internal storm flap.
  • Two handwarmer and two external, zippered chest pockets allow for easy access while belaying; self-stuffs into the front-left pocket.
  • Large internal catch-all pocket with an elasticized opening allows for easy storage.
  • Soft, elasticized stitching at cuffs and a dual-adjust cord-lock system at the hem seal out the elements.
  • Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, which means the people who made this product earned a premium for their labor.
