Description

Technical ground demands protection from water, rock and lateral movement rather than waterproofing alone. The North Face Men's Offtrail Hike GORE-TEX Waterproof Shoes combine a reinforced Cordura® upper, integrated rock guard and stable trail platform for rough, unpredictable routes.

A PFAS-free GORE-TEX® membrane prevents rain and surface water from reaching the foot while allowing internal moisture vapour to escape. Cordura® ripstop wraps the forefoot, supported by a ballistic-rubber toe cap, nubuck reinforcements and TPU overlays where contact is most likely.

The padded collar, tongue and reinforced heel cup hold the foot securely across longer days. Ghillie loops and metal eyelets allow the lacing tension to be refined, while heel and forefoot rubber wraps increase protection and lateral stability.

An integrated SKYCORE rock guard shields the forefoot from sharp ground. Beneath it, the Surface CTRL® outsole uses five-millimetre lugs for traction on wet, loose and technical terrain, creating a protective low-cut hiking shoe for demanding routes.
