Description

Wind, exposed rock and high steps place very different demands on alpine trousers. The North Face Men's Summit Chamlang Softshell Pants use breathable WindWall™ fabric and four-way stretch to reduce wind chill while allowing unrestricted movement through technical climbs.

Articulated knees and a low-profile integrated belt keep the fit comfortable beneath a harness. Water-resistant zipped hand pockets and a thigh pocket secure essentials, while an internal gear loop keeps a small piece of equipment close.

Reinforced kickpatches protect the lower legs from rock and mountaineering hardware. Zipped, gusseted cuffs open around different boots, with tie-down eyelets and a snap-back system helping the trousers integrate cleanly with alpine footwear.
