Description

Light enough to carry as a dependable insulating layer but warm enough to earn a regular place in your cold-weather kit, the Patagonia Men's Down Sweater Hooded Jacket combines 800-fill-power Responsible Down Standard insulation with a lightweight, windproof recycled shell. It works equally well over a base layer on cool hikes, under a shell when conditions deteriorate, or as an everyday jacket through colder months.

The 20-denier NetPlus® ripstop shell and lining are made from 100% postconsumer recycled nylon sourced from recycled fishing nets, with a durable water-repellent finish made without intentionally added PFAS to help shed light moisture. Inside, 800-fill-power RDS down delivers high-loft warmth without excessive bulk, while the quilt pattern is shaped to support warmth and movement.

A single-pull adjustable hood, elastic-bound cuffs and an adjustable hem help retain warmth when the temperature drops. Two zippered handwarmer pockets handle everyday storage, while the internal zippered chest pocket doubles as a stuffsack and includes a carabiner clip-in loop. Two additional interior drop-in pockets give you space for gloves or other quick-access essentials.

At approximately 420 g, the Down Sweater Hoody balances warmth, packability and everyday durability. Patagonia also includes a repair patch for quick field fixes, and the jacket is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
