Stop-start mountain movement needs insulation that responds as effort changes. The North Face Men's Summit Casaval Hybrid Hooded Jacket uses Ventrix™ panels with laser-cut perforations that open during activity and close as the body cools, balancing warmth with airflow.

Stretch FlashDry™ panels under the arms and around the hem move moisture away from the skin and preserve unrestricted movement. Raglan sleeves and a gusseted construction avoid bulky shoulder seams beneath a backpack.

The insulated hood fits beneath a helmet, while secure chest and hand pockets organise essentials. The jacket packs into its own hand pocket and clips to a harness or pack between uses.
