Description

Severe cold at altitude demands substantial warmth without unnecessary weight. The North Face Men's Summit Himalayan Down Parka uses water-repellent 800-fill ProDown™ and Cloud Down baffles, allowing the insulation to loft effectively while reducing cold spots.

The insulated hood fits over a climbing helmet and adjusts at the rear, with a pre-tensioned opening holding coverage around the face. A two-way front zip supports harness access and ventilation, while internal elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem reduce heat loss.

Concealed hand pockets and large internal drop pockets organise gloves and mountain essentials. The parka packs into the included stuffsack, creating a focused expedition layer for high-altitude belays, camps and extreme winter conditions.
