Description

A broader forefoot and secure heel give the Meindl Men's Tramin GORE-TEX Hiking Boots their comfortable, supportive character. Meindl's Comfort-Fit construction adds space around the toes and flex points without letting the foot feel loose at the rear. Nubuck leather and suede create a durable upper, reinforced at the toe for extra protection, while the GORE-TEX lining forms a waterproof, breathable barrier against wet weather.

The cork-and-fleece Comfort-Fit footbed supports the foot on a wider base, helping reduce pressure across the forefoot on longer walks. Beneath it, the Meindl Lite Trail rubber grip sole uses an EVA shock absorber to cushion repeated steps while maintaining dependable traction. It is a practical choice for maintained paths, low mountain routes and full days outdoors.

About the brand

Meindl

Meindl is a German bootmaker based in Kirchanschoring, in the Bavarian Alps, where the Meindl family has made shoes since Petrus Meindl was recorded as a shoemaker in 1683. The company as it is known today was founded in 1928, and it remains family-run, one of the last boot factories still producing in Germany.

Meindl is best known for hiking and mountain boots, still largely handcrafted from leather by master shoemakers. The brand was among the first to build a GORE-TEX membrane into a boot, and created the A to D terrain grading system used to match footwear to the ground it is made for. Comfort, careful fit and long-lasting, resoleable construction run through the range.
