Description

Cold hikes and everyday winter days need warmth that remains dependable when moisture reaches the outer fabric. The North Face Women's Aconcagua 3 Hooded Insulated Jacket combines recycled down and synthetic insulation in a light, water-repellent design.

The main body uses a 50/50 blend of 600-fill recycled waterfowl down and recycled polyester, providing balanced warmth without excessive bulk. Zoned sheet insulation through the hood, upper panels, underarms, sides and draft flap continues to insulate effectively in damp conditions.

A non-PFC durable water-repellent finish helps light moisture bead away from the recycled-polyester outer. The jacket is water resistant rather than fully waterproof, so sustained rain requires additional protection.

An adjustable three-piece hood closes around the head, while elastic-bound cuffs help retain warmth at the wrists. Secure zipped hand-warmer pockets protect essentials, and the standard fit leaves room for a base layer or lightweight fleece underneath.
