A footwear construction where the GORE-TEX laminate is bonded directly to the shoe upper instead of sitting inside as a separate waterproof bootie. Removing that extra layer gives a lighter, more natural fit with fewer pressure points, and because no water is trapped between layers the shoe dries faster while staying durably waterproof and breathable.

Vibram is the Italian company behind many of the grippy rubber soles on quality outdoor footwear, marked by its yellow octagon. It designs outsole rubber compounds and lug patterns tuned to the job, from wet rock and mud to everyday trails, for grip and long-lasting durability.
