Description

Wet walking days call for a shell that can adapt when temperatures drop as well as when the rain starts. The Berghaus Men's Hillwalker 2.0 IA Gore-Tex Jacket uses two-layer GORE-TEX ePE, a waterproof and breathable membrane construction rated to a 28,000mm hydrostatic head and RET 13 breathability. A double storm flap protects the centre-front zip, while the adjustable roll-away hood can be deployed for rain and stowed neatly when conditions improve.

Berghaus' InterActive front zip allows the shell to connect with compatible insulating midlayers, creating a joined system when extra warmth is required. Double hem adjustment and hook-and-loop cuffs help close out wind and rain, while two zipped hand pockets keep essentials secure and accessible. The result is a durable, adaptable waterproof jacket for regular hillwalking and everyday wet weather.

About the brand

Berghaus

Berghaus is a British outdoor brand, founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1966 by climbers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison. Frustrated by the gear available at the time, they began designing their own, and named the brand Berghaus, German for mountain house. Decades of innovation followed, tested on the rain-soaked fells of northern England.

Berghaus was the first brand in Europe to use GORE-TEX and the maker of the pioneering Cyclops internal-frame rucksack. Today it produces waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers, baselayers and packs for men, women and children. Much of the performance comes from its own technology, including AQ2 waterproofing and the Extrem range built for the most demanding conditions.
