Description

Warmth where you need it most is combined with a lighter, more mobile feel in the Berghaus Men's Vaskye Hooded Hybrid Jacket. Hydroloft® Polyball synthetic insulation is arranged in a micro-baffle pattern to distribute warmth through the insulated areas, while the hood adds extra coverage when temperatures drop. The hybrid construction is designed to provide useful insulation without the bulk of a heavier winter jacket.

Pertex® Quantum forms the outer fabric, using a lightweight, tightly woven construction that helps reduce wind penetration while keeping the jacket easy to pack and carry. The combination of synthetic fill, protective outer fabric and low weight makes the Vaskye a practical insulating layer for cold walks, travel and active winter days.

About the brand

Berghaus

Berghaus is a British outdoor brand, founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1966 by climbers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison. Frustrated by the gear available at the time, they began designing their own, and named the brand Berghaus, German for mountain house. Decades of innovation followed, tested on the rain-soaked fells of northern England.

Berghaus was the first brand in Europe to use GORE-TEX and the maker of the pioneering Cyclops internal-frame rucksack. Today it produces waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers, baselayers and packs for men, women and children. Much of the performance comes from its own technology, including AQ2 waterproofing and the Extrem range built for the most demanding conditions.
