Description

The Berghaus Men's Wavertree Hooded Jacket uses a four-way-stretch woven outer with a durable water-repellent finish that helps shed light surface moisture without turning the jacket into a waterproof shell. A lightweight grid-mesh lining improves airflow and comfort while keeping the construction low bulk for walking, travel and everyday outdoor use.

A single-point bungee adjustment at the hem lets you refine the fit, while bonded cuff construction adds a neat, protective finish at the sleeves. Storage is split between a chest pocket with a bonded flap and two hand pockets with easy-grab zip pulls. Flatlocked seam detailing keeps the inside smooth, giving the Wavertree a clean, flexible feel for mild and changeable conditions.

About the brand

Berghaus

Berghaus is a British outdoor brand, founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1966 by climbers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison. Frustrated by the gear available at the time, they began designing their own, and named the brand Berghaus, German for mountain house. Decades of innovation followed, tested on the rain-soaked fells of northern England.

Berghaus was the first brand in Europe to use GORE-TEX and the maker of the pioneering Cyclops internal-frame rucksack. Today it produces waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers, baselayers and packs for men, women and children. Much of the performance comes from its own technology, including AQ2 waterproofing and the Extrem range built for the most demanding conditions.
