Description

When you want cold-weather warmth without being locked into a narrow sleeping-bag fit, the Snugpak Softie Expansion 3 Sleeping Bag adds a deployable Elasticated Expander Panel that gives you extra room through the body when required. Open the side baffle for more space to move or to release excess heat, then close it again when you want the bag to sit closer for greater thermal efficiency.

Softie® synthetic insulation works with a Reflectatherm layer and lightweight Paratex fabrics to provide a comfort rating of -5°C and a low-temperature rating of -10°C. An adjustable drawcord hood, insulated zip baffle and thermal suede foot lining help retain warmth around areas where heat is easily lost, while foot-shortening clips let you reduce the usable internal length for a closer fit.

Practical details include a built-in LED torch, internal valuables pocket, two-way side zip with anti-snag webbing and hanging tabs for airing and drying after use. At 1.5 kg with a packed size of approximately 26 × 22 cm, it is best suited to camping and colder trips where comfort, adjustable space and dependable synthetic insulation matter more than minimum pack weight.

A compression stuff sack is included for transport and storage on the move.
