Description

Small valuables are often the items most difficult to protect once rain or spray reaches the main load. The North Face Base Camp Dry Bag 8L creates a compact IPX7-rated waterproof compartment for hiking, camping and time around the water.

Burly 300-denier recycled polyester is backed by a durable TPU coating, forming a waterproof body that also withstands regular outdoor use. The Hypalon® collar gives the opening enough structure for a consistent roll, and the bag seals once the top has been rolled at least twice and clipped closed.

A reinforced base protects the lower section, while daisy-chain webbing provides lash points for attaching the bag securely to compatible equipment. Its eight-litre capacity keeps smaller essentials organised without adding a bulky container to the rest of the load.

To get the full IPX7 waterproof seal, roll the top down at least twice before you clip it. It'll keep spray and rain out, but it's not built to be fully submerged.
