The seam-sealed shell is waterproof, windproof and air permeable, keeping rain outside while allowing more airflow than a conventional non-porous barrier. Its recycled face and tricot backer create a soft, lightly stretching construction that remains comfortable over active layers.

The three-piece hood adjusts at the front and back for closer coverage. Pit zips release heat directly from the underarms, while hook-and-loop cuff tabs and an internal hem cord close down the edges when conditions become exposed.

Reverse-entry zipped hand pockets keep essentials secure, and the jacket stows into its own chest pocket when the weather clears. The standard fit leaves room for a base layer and light fleece without turning the shell into a bulky outer jacket.
