Combining GORE-TEX 50D and 75D fabrics, our Women's Alpine fit and Mountain HC Hood the Makalu provides an ideal balance of waterproof protection, durability and weight for year round use.

The collar is huge

Love this coat, protects me from the elements.
The collar is huge though and when the rain stops I find the collar standing up, hitting me in the face. A stud button might be a solution to pin it down, when not needed.
