Description

Built to pull on over walking trousers when the rain sets in, the Berghaus Women's Deluge 2.0 Waterproof Trousers use Hydroshell® 2L, a two-layer waterproof and breathable fabric that keeps rain out while allowing moisture vapour to escape. Their light construction and articulated legs give enough freedom for steady walking without the stiff feel associated with heavier waterproof layers.

An elasticated waistband with side adjustment helps settle the fit over other layers. Three-quarter side zips open up the legs for easier changes over footwear and can also release excess heat when the pace increases, with snap closures helping keep the openings controlled in wet conditions.

About the brand

Berghaus

Berghaus is a British outdoor brand, founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1966 by climbers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison. Frustrated by the gear available at the time, they began designing their own, and named the brand Berghaus, German for mountain house. Decades of innovation followed, tested on the rain-soaked fells of northern England.

Berghaus was the first brand in Europe to use GORE-TEX and the maker of the pioneering Cyclops internal-frame rucksack. Today it produces waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers, baselayers and packs for men, women and children. Much of the performance comes from its own technology, including AQ2 waterproofing and the Extrem range built for the most demanding conditions.
