Description

Built for winter mountaineering and mixed alpine ground, the Scarpa Women's Manta Tech Gore-Tex is a supportive four-season mountain boot designed to work with semi-automatic crampons. A GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort lining combines waterproof protection with added warmth, while the 3 mm Perwanger suede leather upper provides the durability needed for rough mountain use.

A protective rubber-and-PU rand helps shield the upper from rock and crampon contact, and the multi-density PU midsole balances support with cushioning underfoot. The Vibram® Mulaz S outsole gives secure traction on steep, technical ground, while the structured heel provides the stable interface needed for semi-automatic crampons.

Scarpa

Scarpa is an Italian footwear brand, founded in 1938 in Asolo, in the Dolomite foothills of northern Italy. The name is an acronym for Societa Calzaturiera Asolana Riunita Pedemontana Anonima, and the original idea was to bring together the area's best shoemakers under one roof. Since 1956 it has been owned and run by the Parisotto family, still based in the same part of Italy.

Scarpa is best known for mountaineering boots, rock climbing shoes and ski touring boots, alongside hiking and trail running footwear. It was among the first to design footwear specifically for climbing and mountaineering, and the range still balances traditional Italian craftsmanship with technical innovation and a reputation for durability and fit.
