Description

Longer coverage makes a noticeable difference when rain is falling through a commute, school run or everyday walk. The North Face Women's Antora Rain Parka extends protection below the hips while using a seam-sealed DryVent™ shell to remain waterproof, windproof and breathable.

The recycled polyester ripstop body has a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish that helps rain bead from the surface. Mesh lines the body for comfort over lighter clothing, while smooth taffeta through the hood, sleeves and pockets makes layering easier.

An attached three-piece hood adjusts with a drawcord and cord locks, and a storm flap with hook-and-loop closure protects the centre front zip. Encased elastic cuffs close neatly around the wrists, while the drop-tail hem adds further coverage at the back. Secure zipped hand pockets keep a phone, keys and other essentials protected.

The longer parka cut leaves room for a light layer underneath without creating a heavily insulated feel. Customer feedback indicates that the style runs small, so the next size up may provide more comfortable layering space.

About the brand

The North Face

The North Face began in 1966 as a small climbing and camping shop in San Francisco, started by two outdoor enthusiasts who wanted to supply serious adventurers with gear they could trust. It took its name from the coldest, most demanding face of a mountain, and that spirit of pushing boundaries has shaped the brand ever since.

Today The North Face is known worldwide for jackets, footwear and packs built to perform in rain, wind and snow. From forest walks to summit scrambles, its gear is made to protect you through changeable conditions and long days outdoors, whatever Ireland's skies decide to do.

That reliability comes from proven materials and technologies, including GORE-TEX for waterproof, breathable protection and ThermoBall insulation for packable warmth. It is gear designed to keep up, on the trail and off it.
