Try Something New This Winter: Join Our Adventure Club Ski Lesson
If you've ever wanted to try skiing or snowboarding but didn’t know where to start, this is your moment. The 53 Degrees North Adventure Club is heading to the slopes on Monday 24th November 2025, and you’re invited to join our beginner-friendly lesson with the Ski Club of Ireland.
Whether you’ve never clipped into skis before or you’re simply curious to see what it’s like, this relaxed lesson is the perfect introduction.
When and Where
Date: Monday 24th November
Time: Meet at 7.15pm to sign in and get your boots fitted. The lesson runs from 8pm to 10pm.
Location: Ski Club of Ireland, Killegar, Kilternan, Co. Dublin
A Fun, Easy Way to Get Started
The session is designed with complete beginners in mind. The instructors at the Ski Club of Ireland are brilliant at breaking everything down into simple steps, so you’ll feel confident from the very start. There’s no pressure, no rushing and no previous experience needed.
All equipment - skis, boards, boots and pole - is provided, so you only need to bring warm, comfy, waterproof clothing, strong gloves and knee-high socks. That’s it. You’ll be ready for the slopes in no time.

What if the Weather Is Bad?
Rain and cold weather don’t affect the lesson. Classes go ahead as normal, and the misting system keeps conditions consistent.
Do I Need to Be Fit?
Only basic fitness is needed for your first session. The instructors are excellent at taking things step by step, ensuring everyone feels comfortable.
