Columbia Four Peaks Challenge - Carrauntoohil 10/09/22

The 4th and Final Peak in our 4 Peak Challenge is almost upon us, the mighty Carrauntoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland. We will be undertaking this final step in our challenge on the morning of Saturday, September 10^th. (Exact meeting and route details will be included in the email to sign ups)

The journey up and down Carrauntoohil is strenuous, walking for 12 kilometers ascending/descending 990 meters in height. It will take about 6 hours. As well as ascent and descent on steep terrain there are a few places where scrambling is required. Participants should be fit enough to undertake this level of exertion without undue discomfort.

Please note that there is no option to sign up a buddy for this hike as each participant must sign up themselves and complete the disclaimer for insurance purposes. Numbers are limited so please only register if you know you will be available to attend.
