Refund policy

In the event that you are not satisfied, and you wish to return a product, you may do so within 30 days of receiving the item to any 53 Degrees North store and we will refund you in full via the original payment method used (if possible), issue online store credit or exchange your item for another size or another item. This includes items on sale. You can return your items to a store personally or post them along with proof of purchase to:

Returning goods is the responsibility of the customer until we receive them, and the cost of returning goods must be covered by the customer.

Your 14-day right to cancel

If you bought online, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason. This legal right applies in addition to the 30-day returns policy.

To cancel, use the cancellation button in your account, or email webstore@53degreesnorth.ie with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You can also use our model cancellation form (PDF), but you don't have to.

Once you have told us, send the goods back within 14 days. You are responsible for the cost of return postage. You may handle and inspect the goods as you would in a store; you may be liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to check their nature and characteristics.

We will refund the full cost of the goods, including your original standard delivery charge, to your original payment method within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling. We may withhold your refund until we have received the goods, or until you have provided proof of return, whichever comes first.

Items that cannot be returned

• Food items, unless faulty
• Underwear, if the original sealed packaging has been opened after delivery (for hygiene reasons)
• Climbing equipment that has been used (for safety reasons). This does not affect your statutory right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receipt.

International orders

If your order was delivered outside Ireland and Northern Ireland, you arrange and pay for the return postage to the Web Order Returns address above. The reduced-rate DPD Ireland returns service is for customers in Ireland.
