Description

The MOD1 Pro brings a classic skate-style look to the mountain with Oakley's most robust construction: an injection-moulded Dura-Matter shell over an EPS foam liner, which resists dents and dings. Skull Matrix combines MIPS® and BOA® in a single system for a more adaptive, comfortable fit.

Fixed vents at the front ventilate your goggles and fixed vents on top help keep you cool. A Fidlock® magnetic buckle fastens with gloves on, and the liner and ear pads are removable and machine washable, with room for the goggle strap underneath. Certified to ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077. A helmet travel bag is included.

About the brand

Oakley

Oakley is an American brand, founded in 1975 by Jim Jannard in California, and named after his dog, an English Setter called Oakley Anne. It began with a single product, a better motocross handgrip made from Jannard's own grippy material, sold from the back of his car at races.

From there Oakley moved into eyewear, launching motocross goggles in 1980 and its first sunglasses in 1984, and going on to become one of the best known names in sport. The brand is built on performance eyewear, from sunglasses and prescription frames to ski and bike goggles, backed by its own lens technology such as Prizm, which sharpens colour and contrast for different sports and conditions. Now based in Foothill Ranch, California, it also makes apparel, footwear and accessories.
