Description

Three-quarter side zips give these overtrousers a practical advantage when wet weather arrives mid-walk. The Berghaus Men's Deluge 2.0 Waterproof Trousers combine those long openings with Hydroshell® 2L, a waterproof and breathable fabric that shuts out rain while allowing built-up moisture vapour to escape.

Articulation through the legs leaves room for a natural stride, while the elasticated waist and drawcord adjustment keep the trousers secure over walking layers. The side zips also provide useful ventilation when effort levels rise, and snap closures help manage the openings without having to remove the trousers completely.

About the brand

Berghaus

Berghaus is a British outdoor brand, founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1966 by climbers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison. Frustrated by the gear available at the time, they began designing their own, and named the brand Berghaus, German for mountain house. Decades of innovation followed, tested on the rain-soaked fells of northern England.

Berghaus was the first brand in Europe to use GORE-TEX and the maker of the pioneering Cyclops internal-frame rucksack. Today it produces waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers, baselayers and packs for men, women and children. Much of the performance comes from its own technology, including AQ2 waterproofing and the Extrem range built for the most demanding conditions.
