Description

Extra interior room is the defining advantage of the Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 XL 2-Person Trekking Tent, a three-season, freestanding ultralight shelter built around a rectangular, non-tapered 244 x 137 cm floor. Its 1.30 kg trail weight keeps the larger format practical for two-person backpacking where additional sleeping and gear space is worth carrying.

The proprietary HyperBead® fly and floor fabric has a 1500 mm waterproof rating and is specified by Big Agnes as 6% lighter, 25% more waterproof and 50% stronger than traditional fabrics without added water-repellent chemicals. Dual side-entry doors and vestibules make access easy from either side, while low and high venting support airflow through the shelter.

Storage is spread across an oversized 3D bin pocket, ceiling pockets and side pockets, leaving the floor clearer for sleeping space. DAC Featherlite poles, TipLok™ buckles and the cross-pole socket support the freestanding setup, and the tent packs to 56 x 15 cm in its EZ Pack stuff sack; a compatible footprint enables Fast Fly setup.
