Description

Pull-on rain protection is most useful when it is quick to deploy and easy to move in. The Berghaus Women's Hillwalker 2.0 Trousers use two-layer GORE-TEX ePE, a waterproof and breathable membrane construction designed to block rain while allowing moisture vapour to escape. A 28,000mm hydrostatic-head rating provides strong resistance to sustained water pressure, while a RET breathability rating of 13 supports moisture management during active use.

Long two-way side zips make the overtrousers easier to pull on over footwear and can also be opened for extra ventilation. Articulated knees improve freedom of movement, while an elasticated waist cord and adjustable hems let you refine the fit around other layers. An internal stash pocket keeps small items secure and doubles as a pack-away pocket when the trousers are not needed, and storm flaps with snap closures add protection along the side zips.

About the brand

Berghaus

Berghaus is a British outdoor brand, founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1966 by climbers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison. Frustrated by the gear available at the time, they began designing their own, and named the brand Berghaus, German for mountain house. Decades of innovation followed, tested on the rain-soaked fells of northern England.

Berghaus was the first brand in Europe to use GORE-TEX and the maker of the pioneering Cyclops internal-frame rucksack. Today it produces waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers, baselayers and packs for men, women and children. Much of the performance comes from its own technology, including AQ2 waterproofing and the Extrem range built for the most demanding conditions.
