Description

Ordinary detergents can leave residues that reduce the performance of down insulation. Nikwax Down Wash Direct Technical Cleaner is designed specifically for down-filled clothing and sleeping bags, removing dirt and body oils while helping restore loft, breathability and the performance of existing water-repellent finishes.

The cleaner is suitable for both conventional and hydrophobic down and can be used in a washing machine or by hand. It is also the recommended first step before applying Nikwax Down Proof, giving the waterproofing treatment a clean surface and fill to work with.
