About the brand

Osprey

Osprey is an American brand, founded in Santa Cruz, California, in 1974, when a young Mike Pfotenhauer began hand-building custom backpacks for local adventurers. That obsession with fit and craft still sets the brand apart today.

Osprey packs are made for people who love to move, with adjustable back systems, ventilated harnesses and padded hipbelts that make the load feel lighter however far you go. Alongside hiking packs, travel bags and daypacks, Osprey is especially well known for its child carriers, ideal for family walks with little ones along for the ride.
