Description

Dependable wet-weather protection and easy layering make the Berghaus Women's Hillwalker 2.0 InterActive GORE-TEX Jacket a practical shell for regular walking and hiking. Two-layer GORE-TEX ePE fabric provides waterproof, breathable protection, backed by a 28,000mm hydrostatic-head rating for sustained rain.

The adjustable hood can be rolled away when conditions settle, while adjustment at the cuffs and hem helps seal out wind and rain. A double storm flap protects the centre-front zip and two zipped hand pockets keep essentials secure. Berghaus' InterActive front zip also allows the jacket to connect with a compatible insulating midlayer when extra warmth is needed.

About the brand

Berghaus

Berghaus is a British outdoor brand, founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1966 by climbers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison. Frustrated by the gear available at the time, they began designing their own, and named the brand Berghaus, German for mountain house. Decades of innovation followed, tested on the rain-soaked fells of northern England.

Berghaus was the first brand in Europe to use GORE-TEX and the maker of the pioneering Cyclops internal-frame rucksack. Today it produces waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers, baselayers and packs for men, women and children. Much of the performance comes from its own technology, including AQ2 waterproofing and the Extrem range built for the most demanding conditions.
