High-output mountain days need warmth that can release heat quickly when the pace rises. The Patagonia Men's R1 Air Full-Zip Hooded Lightweight Fleece Jacket uses hollow-core recycled polyester in a zigzag structure, trapping useful warmth while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape.

The close-fitting hood layers comfortably under a helmet, and the full zip gives immediate ventilation. Offset shoulder seams sit more comfortably under pack straps, while zipped hand pockets and a chest pocket secure essentials. A low-bulk fit makes the fleece easy to wear beneath a shell without restricting movement.
