Mountain midlayers work hardest when they provide warmth at low weight and continue to breathe as effort increases. The North Face Men's Polartec Powergrid Stormgap Hoodie combines Polartec® Power Grid™ performance with stretch and secure storage for mountaineering and active hiking.

The grid construction balances insulation with open channels that help excess heat and moisture escape. FlashDry™ technology further supports moisture movement, while elastane allows the layer to follow reaches, high steps and repeated upper-body movement.

An elastic-bound hood adds close coverage without loose adjustment hardware. Matching elastic at the cuffs and waist keeps the standard shape settled beneath an outer shell, while the full front zip releases heat immediately during steeper movement.

Zipped hand pockets and a separate zipped chest pocket secure food, a phone and other small mountain essentials. Light, breathable and easy to regulate, the Stormgap Hoodie is designed as an efficient active midlayer rather than a bulky standalone fleece.
