This Columbia Kids' Tech Trail Utility Hiking Shorts listing combines two closely related styles, both made from quick-drying 95% polyester / 5% elastane fabric. Omni-Shield™ helps repel moisture and resist stains, while drainage holes suit active days outdoors.

The Tuscan variants are Boys' style 2117141. They use belt loops and an interior adjustable waistband, with hand pockets, a hook-and-loop cargo pocket, secure back pockets and a utility loop.

The Collegiate Navy variants are Girls' style 2117151. They use an elastic, drawcord-adjustable waist, with hand pockets, a reverse-entry side pocket, hook-and-loop cargo storage and a utility loop. Columbia gives both styles a Regular Fit; the Girls' style runs large, so Columbia recommends considering a size down.
