Chipper Reclaimed Closed-Cell Foam Seat

A small seat pad can make wet grass, cold rock and rough campsite ground much more comfortable without adding the weight or bulk of a chair. The NEMO Chipper Reclaimed Closed-Cell Foam Seat folds into a compact block for your pack, then opens into a supportive 32 × 42 cm pad for sitting, kneeling or adding a little extra insulation beneath you.

Chipper is made entirely from reclaimed and remoulded PE foam scraps generated during NEMO sleeping-pad production. The blend of foam densities gives the pad a balance of cushioning and resilience, while its contoured hexagonal pattern helps the folded sections nest closely together to reduce packed size.

Because reclaimed offcuts are mixed during production, each Chipper has its own colour pattern rather than a perfectly uniform finish. A removable loop can be used for hanging, lashing or staking the pad in place, making it useful for hiking breaks, festivals, picnics, travel, gardening and sporting events.

At approximately 215 g and just 32 × 10.5 × 5.7 cm when folded, it is an easy piece of comfort to carry when a full camp chair would be unnecessary.
