Description

Built for bright, warm conditions, the Trekmates Atacama Cap combines packable sun coverage with practical protection from biting insects. The breathable Supplex polyamide outer and mesh lining help manage heat, while a wicking browband draws moisture away during active days.

A 7 cm folding peak shades the eyes and packs down easily when the cap is stowed. When stronger coverage is needed, the zip-away legionnaire flap protects the back of the neck. The outer fabric carries a midge- and mosquito-repellent treatment guaranteed for five washes, and the UPF 40+ rating adds dependable protection for hiking, travel and exposed mountain days.
