Description

Low trail weight and a three-minute pitch make the Vango F10 Banshee UL 2-Person Tent a practical two-person trekking shelter for moving efficiently between camps. Its tunnel layout keeps packed bulk down while double porches provide sheltered storage on both sides.

The Protex 10.SRN flysheet uses ultra-light 10D ripstop nylon reinforced with silicone and PU, with a 3,000 mm hydrostatic-head rating. PowerLite Plus 7001-T6 alloy poles and the TBS Pro Tension Band System add lightweight structure and internal bracing, while Dyneema core guylines and high-grip adjusters help maintain tension.

A 20D ripstop nylon bathtub groundsheet is rated to 6,000 mm HH and rises 10 cm up the inner wall. Fully taped seams, a partial-mesh inner door, reflective points, internal storage pockets and the Fast Pack tent bag round out the camping setup. Total weight is 1.38 kg, trail weight is 1.19 kg, and packed size is 40 × 12 cm.

About the brand

Vango

Vango is a Scottish outdoor brand, founded in 1966 in the west of Scotland by Alistair Moodie, its name an anagram of Govan, where it began. Still based near Glasgow at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, it has spent decades designing tents and equipment tested against real Scottish weather.

Vango is best known for pioneering AirBeam inflatable tent technology, which replaces traditional poles with air beams so large family tents can be pitched in minutes, now used across its tents and drive away awnings too. The range covers everything from family and technical trekking tents to sleeping bags, rucksacks, mats and camping furniture, including kit recommended by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Reliability, innovation and usability run through it all.
