How do I wash a fleece?

Wash on a cool, gentle cycle with ordinary detergent and skip fabric softener, which clogs the fibres and reduces warmth. Air dry or tumble on low, and washing it inside out helps keep the surface from pilling.

Do The North Face fleeces run true to size?

They are generally a regular fit and true to size. If you plan to layer one under a shell your usual size is normally right, so size up only if you want to wear thick layers underneath.

Do fleeces keep the wind out?
