Frequently asked questions
Are these good for wearing in and around water?
Yes. The sandals and flip flops use water-friendly materials that handle pool, sea and campsite and dry quickly, so they suit the beach and poolside as well as camp.
What is the difference between the Explore Camp sandal and Base Camp flip flops?
The Explore Camp is a closed, secure sandal with more coverage and grip for camp and travel. The Base Camp flip flops and slides are lighter, open styles for quick on-and-off wear. It comes down to how much coverage you want.
Are they good for travel?
Yes. They are light, pack flat and dry quickly, which makes them an easy second pair for holidays, festivals and warm-weather travel.
Are these meant for walking any distance?
They are built for camp, water and easy wear rather than covering miles, so they are ideal around the tent, the pool or the campsite but not a substitute for a walking sandal on a long trek. The Explore Camp sandal gives more support and grip than a flip flop if you want a bit more coverage. For proper hiking, a closed shoe is the better call.
