Description

A hubbed dome design gives the Vango Exedra 300 3-Person Tent a useful balance of internal space, stability and carrying weight for hiking and camping. Two main PowerLite 7001-T6 alloy poles plus a brow pole create the structure, with an Axial hub simplifying setup.

The recycled 68D Protex® Eco ripstop polyester flysheet is rated to 3,000 mm HH, while a 70D polyester groundsheet provides a 6,000 mm HH rating. Double doors and double porches give flexible access and sheltered storage on both sides, with mesh inner panels supporting ventilation.

The Exedra 300 has a 2.8 kg trail weight, measures 220 × 355 × 115 cm when pitched and packs to 45 × 18 cm. Inner-first pitching takes around five minutes, and the inner can also be used on its own in suitable warm conditions.

About the brand

Vango

Vango is a Scottish outdoor brand, founded in 1966 in the west of Scotland by Alistair Moodie, its name an anagram of Govan, where it began. Still based near Glasgow at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, it has spent decades designing tents and equipment tested against real Scottish weather.

Vango is best known for pioneering AirBeam inflatable tent technology, which replaces traditional poles with air beams so large family tents can be pitched in minutes, now used across its tents and drive away awnings too. The range covers everything from family and technical trekking tents to sleeping bags, rucksacks, mats and camping furniture, including kit recommended by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Reliability, innovation and usability run through it all.
