Description

Heat and strong sun are easier to manage when a cap does more than provide shade. Columbia Coolhead III Ball Cap uses Omni-Shade™ Broad Spectrum UPF 50 fabric to block a wider range of UVA and UVB rays, while Omni-Wick™ moves sweat towards the surface to dry.

An Omni-Freeze™ Zero sweatband activates as it becomes damp, increasing evaporative cooling around the head. The lightweight, unstructured shape stays flexible, and the hook-and-loop rear adjustment refines the fit.

Highlights

  • Omni-Shade™ Broad Spectrum UPF 50 sun protection
  • Omni-Freeze™ Zero sweat-activated cooling band
  • Omni-Wick™ moisture management

About the brand

Columbia

Columbia Sportswear is an American outdoor brand, founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1938 as a small hat company named after the nearby Columbia River. Family run for much of its history, it grew into one of the best-known names in outdoor clothing, with a reputation for solid performance at a fair price.

Columbia makes waterproof jackets, fleeces, insulated layers and footwear for everyday walks and bigger adventures alike. Much of the performance comes from its own technologies, including Omni-Tech waterproof breathable protection and Omni-Heat thermal-reflective lining that adds warmth without extra weight.
