Description

Fast movement on rough ground needs cushioning that protects without dulling the trail feel. The Hoka Women's Speedgoat 6 Shoes combine a lightweight woven upper with an internal support chassis for a close, secure hold, while a dual-sided gusseted tongue helps keep the fit settled through changing terrain. A dynamic vamp allows useful flexibility over the forefoot and a protective toe bumper adds coverage against rocks and debris.

The lightweight midsole compound is tuned to provide protective cushioning with a responsive toe-off rather than an overly soft ride. Vibram® Megagrip with Traction Lug uses a high-grip rubber compound and shaped tread geometry to improve bite, with 5mm lugs and a revised orientation adding traction on technical trails. Neutral stability keeps the platform straightforward for runners who want grip, cushioning and agility without corrective structures.

About the brand

Hoka

Hoka, originally Hoka One One, is a running brand founded in 2009 in Annecy, France, by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, two trail runners who had previously worked at Salomon. They wanted a shoe that let them run downhill faster and with less fatigue, so they went against the minimalist trend of the time and built in far more cushioning. The name comes from a Maori phrase meaning to fly over the earth.

That maximalist idea, an oversized midsole with soft, deep cushioning, is still what Hoka is known for. Paired with a rocker-shaped sole that smooths each stride, it helps reduce impact over long distances. The range now covers road and trail running, walking and recovery footwear for every kind of runner.
